Welcome to Echo Ridge Nursery.

Echo Ridge Nursery is the oldest, woman-owned
landscape business serving the Northern Shenandoah Valley. The nursery began growing shade and flowering trees in 1986, and expanded to a full service landscape business a year later.

Echo Ridge Nursery grows over 2,000 trees and shrubs
in our fields. Our selection and sizes are wide and varied – trees ranging from 2 to 8 inch caliper are available to both wholesale and retail customers.

All trees are dug when ordered and at the best time for the tree and for planting – either in the spring or in the fall for optimal planting time. Consequently the trees are in prime condition when they are planted. They do not travel hundreds or even thousands of miles on large flat bed trucks, where they are subject to wind damage, and handled many times which can damage the root ball. We encourage our customers to choose their trees in March or April for spring planting, and during the summer and early fall for planting after September.

Our crew is experienced in planting small trees or very large ones. We routinely handle a root ball up to 42inch diameter (about 2000 pounds. or a 4inch caliper tree.)

The landscape business also provides commercial and residential design and installation, as well as maintenance for your property.

Echo Ridge Nursery is an award winning landscape design firm. It took first place in Commercial Projects in the Keep Virginia Beautiful design competition – for its design for BB and T Bank and Berryville Graphics.
